I went with a deep sand bed nothing was live, so I've started from scratch I put in a piece of live rock from my current nano. And today I've noticed progress.

It's a SC 50g starfire 24x24x24 cube. It was difficult to find something to use as a sump so I ended up getting a 10g for now I will be getting a sumo to fit the stand and a large enough space for the skimmer . I'm open to suggestions [emoji51]

I'm getting the cadlights 50g Artisan setup, similar footprint. Sump included as well as the skimmer in the package and that was an easier sell for my wife than piecing it out. And I've read decent reviews on the skimmer so I'm going to give it a shot since it has a tiny footprint. Sorry not much help there..

No there's no fish at the moment but there is bacteria. nitrite, nitrate, ammonia are not present as soon as I put the fish in the bacteria will have waste to consume an build up a bigger bacteria population which will allow me to put more livestock in time . That's just a continuation of the cycle.

Keep an eye out The tank looks amazing. It's currently standing in boxes in my office but can't wait to start this build. I will posting a solid build thread once I start.
