Not my pic, but similar to this. Filter media of your choice at the bottom, poly filter on top. You can get media cups at BRS or other online retailers. Make sure you get the right size. I think they come in 4 inch or 7 inch version.

i have a roller filter and im happy with it except the cost of the roll. it uses 1 entire roll a month. would filter sock be a better option?
You would actually have to place socks for that same month period and decide which is more efficient for you

I am presently looking for a filter cup for the Innovative Marine 40l AIO. One side comes with their caddy, the other has a sock. From research I think we will try a filter cup. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
