Hey Nickng, I've got the rfs39 sump. Do you have pics of the install? I'm thinking about getting this for mine. Did you have to remove anything on the sump chamber? TIA Jerry
Hi Jerry,
I’m using the Fiji cube AFR in my innovative marine RFS39 sump. You can see pictures of the installation in my build thread. Details start from the 2nd page onwards. I posted the dimensions of the height extension acrylic pieces that are necessary to make the setup work.
I’m still using the fleece roller it’s very quiet and I set my varios 8 return pump at 40 to 50% so a roll of fleece last 2 months.

Thanks Nick. Looks like a good fit in the intake chamber but I've got my uv sterilizer pump installed in there right now so looks like the filter roller is too big of I'd have to figure out another way to configure the uv pump. Thanks again!

Yes it fits exactly into the original filter sock chamber. As for UV originally I was thinking of plumbing into the return pipes. Since my tank is already running, I decided to run my 55watt lifegard UV behind the aquarium stand and do a close loop using a Fluval 407 canister with no filtration media. I plan to use the canister as a cryptic zone in future
