Fish is very distant in picture but I can see the other occupants who are known aggressive and would bully this fish. Isolate the fire fish, even in an acclimation box and offer it some caves for hiding which it needs regardless. The continued aggression could potentially cause this fish to be beaten to death

Welcome to Reef2Reef!

Holding a fish in a bucket is not going to be a stable environment - no ammonia or temperature control, and often poor aeration.

I wonder if the two firefish have been fighting, they sometime do that in smaller tanks. The royal gramma may also have tagged it, they are known to be pretty rough on other fish in a tank.

If the firefish has no other issues that the missing top fin (it isn't breathing fast, and is still eating) you might be better off leaving it where it is in the main tank, or maybe adding a tank divider to keep it away from other fish that might be picking on it.

Aggressive fish can be pretty sly - they may behave nicely while you are watching them. One trick is to set your phone to record the tank, then leave the room. That may show you the culprit. However, full contact bites may only happen once in 24 hours or so, you may never see actual damage happen. Watch for one fish trying to stay away from another, or a fish that swims towards another fish, then breaks off its attack if the other fish moves away - those are both signs there could be aggression in the tank.
