i think good enough rio"taam " skilter about 25$ best option for only buying once is @sfin52 octo bh classic 1000/or2000,hob ,will be more than enough for heavy load on 75 :)

Love mine. And if you upgrade should be good for a larger tank as well

hello,you would think having a whole box of timers ,i would have two on the clowns,but no turn lights on and off every day..duh ;Facepalm guess they are doing the 2nd shift today ,forgot to turn lights on this morn:rolleyes:got some new pics while snap happy yesterday;)

no problem..if tank is running lil hotter ,lil cooler will help,honest in 30 years,i know going to get feed back and wows,but i never heat water ,mix salt i 5 gal bucket wait until clears,pour it in,not big on water changes,like never unless problems ,or need to set up new or temp tank,as small as 40 gal ,29 and 10 advise be careful:)

If I heat up more water than I need for water changes, in case I accidentally take too much out, will I have to dump the water I didn't use? Or can I let it go back to room temp and use it next time?
Seems to me you would be fine to just keep it moving and use later. Small water pump to keep the oxygen level at saturation.

Thank you! I have a habit of "eyeballing" it when I remove water, and I always take out just little bit more than I should. Not much, less than half a gallon, but in tanks that are so small, that half gallon can make a difference

Every morning, when I turn on the tank lights, Ronan likes to sit with me in front of the tanks and show me all the snails and hermits that he can see. If he likes doing that now, I can't wait to see how he is when I finally start adding corals (and more fish, in the 29) ;Happy
