Seems to me you would be fine to just keep it moving and use later. Small water pump to keep the oxygen level at saturation. If I heat up more water than I need for water changes, in case I accidentally take too much out, will I have to dump the water I didn't use? Or can I let it go back to room temp and use it next time?
no problem..if tank is running lil hotter ,lil cooler will help, honest in 30 years,i know going to get feed back and wows, but i never heat water ,mix salt i 5 gal bucket wait until clears, pour it in,not big on water changes, like never unless problems ,or need to set up new or temp tank,as small as 40 gal ,29 and 10 advise be careful
Thank you! I have a habit of "eyeballing" it when I remove water, and I always take out just little bit more than I should. Not much, less than half a gallon, but in tanks that are so small, that half gallon can make a differenceSeems to me you would be fine to just keep it moving and use later.
