I love zoanthids.com
Alright, hear me out.

The reason companies used to use the once per week model was to try and milk as much add revenue as possible. Since I'm paying a premium for their content, instead of them relying on advertising dollars, I should be able to consume the product that I purchased at my own rate.

If they dump the whole season at once then I can binge it all at once, and others can watch one episode per week. No one pays a penalty, everyone gets what they want.

If they play them once per week, I have to pay a penalty (waiting) while the once-per-week crowd doesn't.

It's crazy that there's a way that makes everyone happy but they won't do that. They're ding it because Disney+ has virtually nothing going for their streaming service, except for The Mandalorian. You can only watch Dumbo so many times. They're trying to squeeze water out of a rock by stretching it out as much possible. Netflix doesn't have to do this because they're constantly cranking out quality content.

Yeah but The Mandalorian is awesome! Disney+ is really good if you have young kids.
