Our backup plan as of right now

No pics, but I have:

- 10K generator (can run a lot of stuff through the circuit box)
- Emergency Air Bubbles (turn on automatically if power goes out)
- Always have 45ish gallons of RO ready to go, along with the same amount of mixed-SW
- Got backup main return pump
- Got backup powerheads
- Got two heaters on an inkbird
- Most of these things are WiFi and can send alerts

Here is my plan that I will finish this coming week.

I just finished building my generator shed.

Just got a natural gas quick connect installed as well. My natural gas conversion kit came in Friday and I’ll install it tomorrow!

And finally, I got the electrician to come instal this hookup so my generator can run my house!

The interlock is on backorder but it will be installed when I get it. For now, I just have to be super careful to not turn the generator and main on at the same time!

I had a note like that on mine (inside my garage) and people on my local forum tore me a new ******. Said I was responsible for killing line-men.

It was temporary while I found a cut-off switch thinger, but the damage was done.

Cut-off thing is in place now; forces you to turn off the mains first. Was like $100 for a piece of metal.
