Decided to move my Stylocoenelia today. Thought it would benefit with a little more light and less flow. It took some serious pulling and twisting to remove it from the rock scape. Frag disc was bonded on with Seachem reef glue, and plenty of it with the plug end inside a crevice. Definitely removed a lot of thorny polyps in the process of getting it loose. Do you guys have some tips to get this type of coral to heal and begin to crust over the damaged areas? Probably should have just left it alone, but was determined to get it to a more suitable location. Added some iodine after relocation, and tonight I’ll add aminos to water column. Any more suggestions to ease the stress and help with a speedy recovery?
