So, I had a major setback - dKh went so high that Hanna only showed an error reading it. I lost a few of my nicer SPS, but the system has bounced back nicely. A quick little video of the current state.
Tank still looks really good!!

Thanks! It’s weird how some corals don’t seem to care about very high DKH yet others completely get wiped out. I understand the process/chemistry behind it, but it doesn’t make it any easier to lose pieces that you’ve been hunting for.Tank still looks really good!!
You going to FFM?Typical, big corrections (whole bottles) the first few icp's now not that much. Figured out my consumption on strontium, potassium, nickel and flouride and dose that weekly. Up to 5x on the dailies, .08 ml iodide for 275 gallons. Except iron, one acro turned really green and I cut that back to .05ml. I do small WC's to clean out the detritus as needed. My tank is heavily grown in and I have 2 frag tanks off it so big draw on the elements. Yes big changes, makes sense WC's weren't working as well for me. I dose at night but it probably doesn't matter
I am, I have a table. I was actually thinking I should put some bottles out to give it some attention because it's worked so well for me.You going to FFM?
Would like to pick your brain a little more with regards to the moonshine method.
At it’s very basic level, it’s a way of adding trace elements (calculated metering/routine IPC testing) in a ratio that promotes better growth and coloration than normal water changes could ever achieve. What is this exactly?
Looking awesome, bro! Some top-down random pics...
...maturing quite nicely if I do say so myself!
Thx Daniel!Looking awesome, bro!
