Do not know what a "humor issue " is.
So I’m in the same boat.
I’m floating mine in the open water column. Would it be better to plant in a pot with sand or perhaps a mineral substrate such as Julian’s refugium substrate?
I’m misting leaves daily but doesn’t seem to be helping
Thanks! Will do.No don't stick them in the sand. Set them on the sand or on a rock if you want. But if your plants aren't tall enough to do that suspend them using green plant tie. Just secure the pod to something making sure that all the growth above the pod stays dry.
Amazon- plant tape

This is entirely untrue, also its a felony to pick any rooted mangroves. not sure where your false confidence comes fromThey need to be acclimated to saltwater unless they were popped in saltwater.
But any you are ordering from Amazon/Etsy/eBay are wild collected in saltwater. But the pods are grown out in freshwater set ups by the dealer.
They do need to be acclimated to SW if they're coming from FW. Collecting the pods is legal. No where did they say they were collecting rooted mangroves...This is entirely untrue, also its a felony to pick any rooted mangroves. not sure where your false confidence comes from
