Thank you! I got him from their blue collar deal, only 40 bucks! My female clown is very interested in it, kinda looks like she wants to host it lolNo tips, but that's a beautiful coral!
What do you feed them??I absolutely love my elegance corals I have 2 Australias and they seem to grow faster with low flow and medium-low light and I’ve never seen them not eat whatever food was thrown at them but I believe I have caught them eating snails when I had them close to the glass where it was easy to come in contact with the CUC.
I mix reefroids with Goniopower and Fritz Coral Max all together and feed my entire system 2 times a week along wit AB+ 3times a week I also catch it eating the fish food which is mycid shrimp and bloodworms. What do you feed them??
Sand is good location and mine is at least soccer ball size. They do NOT like high mag- 1338 is where mine is at.
Ah okay cool! I might need to increase flow then since its tentacles are not as flowy as yours!Sand is good location and mine is at least soccer ball size. They do NOT like high mag- 1338 is where mine is at.
Elegance corals require a moderate level of light to support their photosynthesis which they very much require You want to aim for a PAR of about 80-120. Also important is water flow which should be moderate.
Elegance corals require moderate light to support photosynthesis which they require. You want to aim for a PAR of about 80-120. Water flow should be moderate as you don’t want the flow to be too high or too low but allowing the tentacles to flow gently. Too little flow and elegance corals will not make it as they need their tentacles to be clear of debris and obviously, too much flow and you may risk tearing the polyps. They require regular feedings. offering foods such as krill, Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, or small pieces of fish, and shrimp.
Elegance corals ARE prone to elegance coral syndrome (ECS). If your coral has this disease, you’ll see swelling around the oral disc and unopened polyps and even a white mucus substance.

Yes- looks very normal. It will deflate when lights go out as its photosynthetic. If it looks like this tomorrow and moving forward- youre on your way !I increased the flow, I think it looks happier?
