Eels as pets
I usually post in Predatory Forum, today I thought I would post here to get exposure. For some reason when people research eels, they fail to realize, these are awesome predators. I've seen alot of interest and failures of late, my lfs told me they sold 3 eels last week, that's alot for eels...www.reef2reef.com

OH WAIT, I dont have rock in my system as of now. Stuff ships late down here. bought around 40kg as of now and will add more. Dont plan on adding eels until 6 months down so I have a decent amount of time. Will be adding an entire pvc pipe system under sand, some openings with rocks glued on them.Do you know when you’ll be able to get a photo of the tank?
Aquascape really matters with eels, they like to hide in crevices in the rocks and also your other fish you want are going to want a lot of hiding spots to disperse aggression and hide from predators.
just wanted to say… These eels you want get wider than just 3/4”. I’ve seen mature Zebras that are Atleast 4 inches in diameter if not fatter.using 3/4" pvc btw

Corals? Rockscape? Fish stock (outside of eels as well)?
