Double maxspect gyres Xf350 - sand all over the place!

The gyres are positioned as high as I can place them... about 1" below the waterline... and still, as seen in the picture:

they are stirring up the sand. The program by which the gyres operate is roughly the average program I've seen here (correct me if im wrong ). I'd appreciate any help, attaching the gyre program:

How big is your tank? That is a lot of gyre. They can push massive water. I have 2 on a 7 ft x 30 in tank and have them at about 30%. They are rated at about 5200 gph so you are pushing about 5200 gph.

Oh, mine is 4 ft, 125g tank.
So dial it down? 20%?
Should i also play with the directions of the currents? Like moving the flow directors

Yes I would go to like 5% and play from there. You really won't be able to dial them in until you start placing corals. You'll also want to bring them down from the water surface more or they'll suck air. Mine are about 3 inches below the water surface.

Same issue. IM 100EXT 4ft. New build and water, sand and gyres. I have tried horizontal and vertical I have them down to 20% sand gets moved. I have the larger grain argonite (not the pebble size). I am already thinking maybe sell for what I can get and go tunze or MP. Love to hear what others have to say. I was going to start the same thread. Will a tunze or MP not move the sand as much?
