After years of using random containers I've found my new favorite. Now I use an ice cap 1.5l container for dosing all for reef. I'm a big fan of the small footprint, shape and durability. It also seals well which is a must for me. It holds enough for my system and then some. Best of luck :)

Right now I just use the BRS jugs, but down the line I'd like something custom from Melev's Reef. Gotta help a brother out and all that.

Amazon for the bottles and rubber gaskets. My wife made the labels with her Cricut.

I like the Nalgene 2L bottles. I have 2 different styles of them.
The bottle on the right is one of the Nalgene space saver rectangular bottles. it was labeled 64 oz, but will actually hold a full 2L. The bottle on the left is a Nalgene 2L sterile bottle, with a square footprint. Those are actually pretty nice in that they have ML level markers on the bottles and are crystal clear unlike the rectangular space saver bottles. Which are more opaque but you can still see the liquid level.

I use the somatic double stack dosing containers. I dislike that to remove the top container I have to remove the tube for the bottom one, but it probably doesn’t matter since they’re no longer made.
Before that I always used old milk jugs.

Also, I bought them used for next to nothing and I just saw on the website while looking for the name that they used to cost $110. There is no chance I would pay that much for them.

I use cereal containers I picked up at WalMart for both ALK and CALC. They each hold roughly one gallon. I like these because they have a wide mouth opening to make refilling easy. For DIY NOPOX, a vodka bottle.

Can't beat the BRS Space Saver containers, if they still sell them. Giant capacity and minimal footprint in your cabinet.

Also, +1 for old vinegar bottles, glass or plastic.
I also use the brs space saver jugs for alk and calc.
For my diy nopox I reuse a nopox bottle that has a dosing cap already.

Got that one. Leaked air into tubing. Returned it.

I replaced it with the simplicity one and it worked way better, larger volume, and didn't leak air. Only cost like $10 more.

I prefer my dosing containers to be watertight. If they could be manufactured by The Weyland Yutani Corp as well then that would be a win win.
