One aspect of this hobby that interests me is seeing people have something unique in their tanks. Maybe it is a fish you don't see every day or a species of coral that you only see once in a while on a vendor's storefront. I wonder what you have in your tank that would be considered "uncommon." I collect the uncommon :)
Natural grafted bi color hammer, from a reefer growing the parent colony for 20 years. Very rarely it will grow two opposite color heads from a single branch

This Wellsophyllia is one of my favorites and is uncommon in these colors

This lobo is a crazy mix of purple, with green pinstriping, and orange glitter effect all over

In my old 90g, I had a Sea Apple. When I was on 3reef, I believe I was the only one who did. Or I just never had communication with others who had tried. I target fed that bad boy and it was a happy camper. BY FAR the most beautiful thing I had in the tank.

Not super rare but not one you see ever day, this is my tridacna Gigas clam

I had something labled bi color hammer I bought way back in the day when corals were cheap.

It was $5 a head, wish I had a better pic. I thought it was pretty cool once grown out.

That black and green goni is an awesome coral to have for Halloween!
Just made me think what if we had reefing trick or treat and we hand out frags?

How about Larry, the Lobster Overlord? Or Larry Jr?

I think one of the weirdest things I've ever had was a 7' Baseodiscus mexicanus flatworm. Loved devouring snails, clam on the half shell, and bristleworms. One of the clown pairs used it like an anemone. Nothing bothered it, even the triggers, butterflies, and angels. It exuded a purple slime that I'm assuming was toxic when initially picked at, and nothing tried a second time.

A closed loop using a sine pump. I know they were big back in the day, but I don't hear much about them now. But I think the the person who has the most uncommon item is @Paul B . I believe he still runs a reverse underground filter

First off. LARRY Sr is awesome!

Second - for having giant zebra flatworm as a pet…
