Hi,
I have a nano reef tank with a canopy and my current diy LED fixture has visible signs of corrosion (over a period of 13 years however), both to the actual LEDs and the aluminium. The LEDs have been swapped out multiple times. I've decided to build a new LED fixture, with the idea of protecting the LEDs and electronics as much as possible. I'm trying to figure out how to protect the aluminium to prevent corrosion, as well as the tank inhabitants from any traces of aluminium.
Are you familiar of any types paints that would be ok to use in this scenario? The paint will have to be reef safe, corrosion resistant, but also heat resistant for up to 100 C (I wouldn't expect to reach such temperatures but just to be on the safe side)
Many thanks,
Alex
