I have a 110 litre, 30 gallon-ish tank on a DIY aluminium extrusion tank stand that is made for a tank that is 1.5 times longer.
I plan on extending the tank stand and add another 110 litre, 30 gallon tank right next to it. I thought of 2 options on how it could be done and wanted to know your thoughts on them.
This is my current setup.
Option 1:
The easier way. I'll use different types of brackets to mount the new parts. It won't be as sturdy as the second option but if this is good enough, I could go for this.
Option 2:
Another way is to use 4 new legs. Or I could even just get the parts for all sides and make a separate tank stand. Much sturdier but more $ and work.
