Ok so the coverage on the spec sheet was off or I can’t do simple math! ;) Two kits didn’t quite do it for us! Or we just went thicker in some areas with the epoxy application (we poured the epoxy in the seams down on the floor to wall transition). I’m Going to order another 3 kits to do a second round of what you see here and use a full kit on the floor! That should do the trick!!

One other thing was we had some pin holes show up and even after trying to fill them with the roller and brush, going over them multiple times (in the 15 minute working time of the epoxy) they still showed up even after the sag… we will do a light sand with 80 grit and Re coat the whole thing… horizontal surfaces weren’t effected.

Talked to the manufacturer and they recommended a 120 grit sanding before the second coat…

Think he was trying to jump from the holding bin to the new tank a little early! Bummer! Had a thunderstorm last night and I think he got spooked!
I had the same experience with a Vlamingi tang, right after moving him into a 250gallon upgrade. I don't think I had enough hiding space rockwork (was going minimalistic), and he got spooked by something one night. And in the morning...

(There was a screen on the tank, but not secured/heavy enough.)

Thanks for sharing! Such cool fish, such a bummer... I'm hoping I don't have this happen in the new tank!
