I called to get on the concrete pour list this week. Planning on sending cookies and videos to see if I can actually get a truck out here! This is week #5 on the waiting list for concrete! So next step is pour the walls

When you ordering concrete, is there a specific concrete needed for this job?

Yes, hi PSI, 5" slump, 1/2 non chloride, hot water, pea gravel mix with microfiber and xypex.

There could be a better mix for different locations or wall thicknesses but that's what I went with...

This is week number 5 being on the waiting list for concrete. My wife sent fancy Donuts to the concrete company on Tuesday to help them remember us on the list. The guy that helped us with the floor gave us his pour spot with that company for tomorrow morning at 7:00am (He's going on vacation and didn't need it). If all goes well you will have an update tomorrow. If not I just asked that they put my body in the pit and fill it on up. Fingers crossed!!

Concrete tomorrow that’s exciting. Looks like you’ve got this well reinforced with rebar and the forms well braced it sure looks like it should be a good day

cut into the block out's for the viewing panels to see if we had mud all the way under the middle

I’ll leave them on for a few weeks at least, 28 days and the walls should be well set. Some people take them off in 2-3 days

We got the concrete truck driver to leave his truck to come check it out! It's pretty unique... and a little crazy
