Im going be building a diy algae scrubber as the thought or spending the money these companies want for an off the shelf item is ludicrous.
To save on power and sump space along with the cost of an additional pump i thought putting the outlet of my uv steriliser to the inlet of the scrubber, obviously the flow will be determined by what i have my uv set to ( and i have no interest in building a manifold)
Any negative things to consider doing it this way?
