Flow is definitely an issue with overcrowding. The other is shadowing (lost my RMF Acid Trip colony that way) and coral warfare (lost my SC Orange Passion that way). I'm trying to be more proactive now. SCOP is in my new coral pack. :)

What I need is a 300g tank so I can spread all my colonies around and let them grow out to their full potential. Now how to trick the wife into that...
Drop it in the basement like I did. Oops. No basements in Norcal (I imagine) so NVM.

Beautiful piece! I believe @SunnyX was looking to get a piece of this back for his collection..
I consider it one of the most underrated acros. The frags are meh, usually green with some red. But once it starts to table out with the blue growth tips it is stunning. I wouldn't have a tank without it.

The coralline is real. Looks awesome as a backdrop.
Yeah, my coraline is crazy. It makes every surface in my tank pink/purple that's not covered by coral. To be honest, I'd rather have less. :disappointed-face: Sometimes people think it's fake in my photos. Unfortunately it's not.

Is there any acro that doesn't do well for you ? Every pic looks amazing
Hey Bob, of course! Sometimes it takes me a few tries too. JF HW took me a third try before I had one take off. Others just never do well like RRU Angry Birds. I have very bad luck with corals from SBB. Most don’t make it from the start, others last a little while. It must be some sort of difference in ecosystems or how they’re shipped, not sure. I’ve lost thousands with that company…

This makes me feel better. For awhile I was thinking it was just me on the losing end sometimes. BTW that nub of the Maleficent survived and is starting to get its red. Stoked about that
