Nice tank. What kind of macro.is that up high in the tank on the 4th picture?Beautiful everyone!
Mine is a Red Sea max c250. I’m using it as predator tank holding a jeweled moray and some damsels. I love the looks of macros so giving some a shot! Some are doing well and some melted away right away, not sure exactly what I’m doing haha, NO3 and PO4 are high. 50/0.5, not sure if that’s too high for macros? Any how pics below. I “modded” a finnex led light in the hood along with two 39 watt t5 bulbs, using giesemann 6500k tropic and super flora. The flora is a little red for my liking hence the red hue to tank, not too bad through, makes the red macro look great. Run t5s for 5 hours a day.

Very clean and neat. I like the look of your sump.
I was able to pick some eel grass from the bay behind my house, I put it in my invert tank to see if it would last and 2 weeks later it’s still alive so I’m gonna pick more and see what I can do with it , also a pic of my hermit crabs I got from oceanCOOL I have always wanted to see people designing their tanks like the local waters... Good job @SMSREEF
I wish that I could sit here and tell you that it is a special kind of brand of some sort but to be honest it’s just a plastic plant that I put in there to a color but this next picture you’re going to see is something that I just got today out of the ocean noticed that the seaweed toward the bottom of bubble kelp is attached to also. There is so much that’s actually going on with this piece that you can’t see in just a photographWhat is that amazing blue macro algea called?
I put that piece inside of my invert tank with my hermit crabs the lights that they get is what they get the tank they are in it’s just a cheesy 20 gallon that I bought five years ago from Walmart and it still has the same cheesy Walmart HOB filter hanging on the back It’s the same Tank that I used to have 13 Seahorses in for almost 2 years Please three things are the only other thing in the tank beside live rock which I am cycling and trying to Coraline for my main tankGive that seagrass a ton of light!
To be honest I like the stuff you took out of the ocean better. ;Hilarious I love that you used colored gravel for the substrate... Takes me back to good old fish bowls!I wish that I could sit here and tell you that it is a special kind of brand of some sort but to be honest it’s just a plastic plant that I put in there to a color but this next picture you’re going to see is something that I just got today out of the ocean noticed that the seaweed toward the bottom of bubble kelp is attached to also.
