I actually have 4 types of discosomas. Just got some Watermelons last night. They are mid tank and seem to be reaching. Are they too high? My Blue are low on the sand seem to be propagating but the blue has gotten pale? My Pinks seem to be fading away and not sure why, they are mid high in back( moved there recently) low light & flow.
AI prime hd running Pennywise deadlight program at 53%, 1.5hr ramp up & down on for 10 hrs.
Salinity 1.025
Need new test kits for other parameters had Adp.
Making sure of regular water changes using distilled water. Tank up 20 months.
Mixed SPS,LPS,& Softies.

what size is your tank?

I have AI Prime on a 15 gallon 12" depth softie tank (mushrooms and zoa's) set at 70%, and some my discoma's in the corner are still reaching. I'm considering going up to 75%.

Your lights are probably too low IMO.

Everything I have read about mushrooms is low light, low flow. I had watermelon and pink disos before in a 12g nano with compact florescent. And they got huge. But only had return pump flow. This tank has SPS & LPS so I have more flow with a small internal pump. I moved my Pinks and blue mushrooms to the lower front corner and they're doing much better. I kept the watermelon where it's at believing it is just adjusting, as it too is looking better with most lying more flat.
