Having some problem with my tank still trying to figure out. Normal tests are fine. Frogspawn isn’t fully opening up, tiny bubble anemone isn’t opening and Rasta Zoa isn’t opening all the way.

Carnations look fine.

Will try a couple of water changes back to back first. Then I’ll try some of that poly filter stuff. It says it’s supposed to remove heavy metals. Also gonna stop GFO for a few days and see what happens. I heard GFO can sometime leach excess iron or aluminum depending on what type you use.

if zoa doesn’t look better after a few days I’ll send out for ICP test.

I stare at that tank every day, I know something is off. Not hugely wrong but enough to annoy a few critters.

Also, one of my emerald crabs decided to take up residence right under Portia. Terrible pic but you can kind of see it.

So you know, one member on FB, has carnation corals and other corals, recently add bio pellets, and experience same what your going thru. He rode it out, everything fine now.

All that stuff was more of a course of action not a total reaction. I'm going to start by just doing a few water changes. About 20% a day over the next few days and see what happens.

Dendra still isn’t cooperating with my schedule and taking a video. Lately she's being a complete night owl. Here are a few pics while I was doing a water change.

From few nights ago

Looking good! Do you have any light on them?

Just did 2nd 20% water change. Anemone is still looking sad. Zoa's look a little better though. Whatever was bugging them has started to get diluted.

Got in touch with guy I purchased corals and anemone from in California. He's trying to get my wife to buy more stuff because he wants to make room for Indo corals. I told her no, not until we actually get what we purchased already.

Also, Got an email from World Wide Corals. January mystery box is getting ready to ship! Can't wait to see what I get. I still have yet to mount the corals from December.

And... My freshwater Platty had a baby! LOL
