My lid came in from Octo Aquatics (@cromag27)! Stellar work by Matt as usual!

Also, aquascaping is now fully underway! I'll be posting some potential scapes soon.

So these are the shapes/structures I've come up with. (Each collage is 1 structure at different angles.)

I really like the first 3. The last one...not so sure about...

They were created inspired by this concept.

Problem is they were all supposed to fit, but they definitely won't. So now I'm debating alternate arrangements, or cutting these down some so they'll fit, or something completely different.

I started this thread to discuss my aquascape and get some feedback: Need aquascape feedback. What do you guys think needs changing?

I was also super stoked to see a bunch of limpets all over the rock! Super cool!

Glad to see it finally coming to fruition! Happy to see you went with the VCA recommendation. I will be following along for sure. I may have broken down my PM25 and traded it to a friend for a CSB split when his Colorado decides to finally do its thing. I still have a nano peninsula but it's a drilled and sumped 22 long that I actually liked more than my PM25.

Awesome! Do you have a build thread going for that one?

I'm really excited for this one to be moving. It's been too long since I had a tank running! I'm hoping the water will have cleared up when I get back home so I can get some pictures of the final version of the aquascape.

I literally just posted a build thread on it. As of today it's cycled so other half of the fun begins now!

It's not as much as I had originally intended, but I think it's a pretty reasonable ratio of space usage for what I plan to do (it's funny because I think it looks smaller somehow in the photos than in person...and yet cameras always seem to do the opposite for me when I end up in the photo ). I had some other pieces that I was wanting to use (as you can see in the previous posts), but they actually wouldn't have fit well. This gives me some good floor space for a couple of larger LPS pieces like perhaps an acantho or a fungia garden.

I like the single piece look, but with more rock come more corals. You need a blenny for those barnacles.
