I wouldnt worry too Much About nitrites , unless its mega high , nitrite is not as toxic too saltwater fish as freshwater .. i never test nitrite.. if your bacteria can reduce 1 ppm ammonia in 24 hrs you will be ok .. but patience in this hobby is always a good thing !!

And it does my tank will eat ammonia fast. But from what I have read everyone says let you're nitrites hit 0 and then do a large water change then add livestock?

Water change would be too reduce nitrates not nitrite ...but I'd say you could add hardy a fish or two .. and an easy coral

Have you quarantined your new livestock? If you're wanting to start your tank off right you don't want to introduce pests and disease to your system. 4 - 6 weeks for fish and 72 days for coral in separate quarantine. Good luck! Your next wave of new tank syndrome will be diatoms, green hair algae GHA. Enjoy the uglies. They may be reduced if you used live rock.
