Hi,

I had a small trial bottle of coral vitality sent to me with some corals I purchased from FM, this was a while back and haven't used it yet.

I've read the info you have on the website, but I'm still struggling to understand exactly what it is and when to use it.

Is it a carbon source? Is it an amino acid?
Can it be used alongside carbon source and/or amino acids?
What is the target use case for it?

Many thanks,
David

HI. Sorry for our late reply
Coral Vitality does not contain Trace elements which be used in your system you used. CV is a mixture of special organic complexed compounds which help the bacterias in the coralbiom of the coral.
You can dose it together with your System, start with 1/2 dosing and see who it works,

@Fauna Marin thanks for the reply, I started 1/2 dosing.

As a follow-up question...
I've been looking at your other products, specifically Amin and Min S.

CV and Amin do not appear to overlap, they appear to be completely distinct, however, when I look at Min S, it appears to contain, at least in part, components of both CV and Amin.

By this I mean, Min S is showing it contains amino acids (Amin) and Biopolymers (CV), in addition to a food source.

With this in mind, if one were to use Min S, would this eliminate the need for Amin and CV?

I guess I'm just confused about what products can be used in combination with each other, or which products wouldn't be needed if another was used.

To ask the question a different way: What products would you recommend for someone using Triton Core7, with LEDs, where I do not currently dose anything else other than fish food, in an almost exclusively SPS dominant tank? and why would you recommend those products?

For example, Coral Sprint and Coral Balance, when would you recommend these over Min S and specifically what is the target use case? Or are these products normally used alongside Amin and CV, as unlikely Mins, as it doesn't contain overlapping elements?

HI
In this case you would be good with. MIN S (25%) 50 % Amin and 1 drop 100 Liter CV
Rgds

Hi,
So you're suggesting I use 25% of the recommended dose of Min S, 50% of Amin and the normal dose of CV?

So on a 200L tank, rounding up to account for extremely low dosage:

0.1ml every 2 days of Min S
0.5ml every day of Amin
2 drops every day of CV

Would this be correct?

Many thanks,
David

Hi in this case usually nothing happens. Due to the high amount the skimmer can reduce it fast. Check if you get an bacterial bloom and check the corals, if they show no signs then is all ok
