I always struggle to make gonis happy
I think they must like iron. My Gonis were doing good in my 75 around 4 years ago, then that tank started getting overrun with hair algae to the point I was losing the battle. Gonis were flourishing while everything else was dying. Removed the rusty magnet and the hair algae went away. Gonis haven't seemed to be as happy ever since. I think SBB says manganese and iodine are other minerals that really make Gonis go crazy with growth.

Official Entry - Best thing has been keeping things simple and not over-reacting to fluctuations

I usually dose manganese separately, then just keep up with trace a and k from Tropic Marin
Works for me.

Raising PH was the most significant thing I’ve noticed increased coral growth.
