I'll contribute :)

I remember doing my research from @Humblefish 's recommendations on medication on-hand and @Brew12 's experiences with Coppersafe and the email exchanges wtih Fritz that showed they had no idea what was going on after taking over manufacturing of the product.

Anywho... I bought mine last September.

Batch: 1107F1D101
Exp: 04-20-19

I used the approach to measure out the exact amount by syringe and test when I was half way to therapeutic levels.

Interior Dimension of tank - 19.9 Gallons
PPM Intended: 1.75ppm (allowed some room for error on my end)
Dosages: 1.9ml per gallon for a total of 37.81 ml
Test Kit: API
Final Test: Between 1-2ppm in color but much closer to 2ppm.

I'm 4 days away from completing 30 days in CopperSafe and have had no loss to date.
Same size tank and I had to stop at 35 ml of Coppersafe

@HotRocks My apologies if this has already been answered; but has anyone contacted Hanna Instruments to confirm that their colorimeter is capable of accurately reading chelated copper? I'd love to ask them point blank if their colorimeter is compatible with the following brands: Cupramine, Coppersafe, Copper Power.

If you haven't contacted them already, I will do it if you like.

I'm also betting @Christoph would likely be able to provide some insight into this.

Yes those are the three I have specifically mentioned to them.

What was their answer? Sorry, I was on the road all day yesterday so I didn't have time to completely read through this thread.

In a nutshell, their answer was, there should be nothing in saltwater that interferes with the tester. They need to do research on the products of their own used with the tester before they are willing to state publicly that the tester is indeed 100% accurate.

Crazy.. well my tank is a 30B and it isn't filled all the way to the top so the total water volume was 19.9 gallons. Was your total interior water volume the same? If so, that is crazy!

Is there any copper product/formula they are sure is 100% accurate with their tester? To use as a baseline? Copper sulfate pentahydrate, perhaps?

That is what they are indeed testing for, I will keep the thread up to date as they provide info!

It’s my understanding in my conversation with Hannah recently that copper test kit is only for freshwater double check I may be wrong but don’t think so

I have been in communication with them. You are indeed correct if you are referring to the Low Range Model (HI747) They will only state it is accurate in freshwater.

In regards to the High Range Model (HI702), they have no testing at all in seawater. Per my conversations with them, if you are able to read through previous posts in this thread specifically below:*COPPERSAFE WARNING* along with Research on Hanna Instruments High Range Copper Checker

You can also see that some very preliminary tests that I preformed, yield the same result, regardless of the presence of salt or not.
*COPPERSAFE WARNING* along with Research on Hanna Instruments High Range Copper Checker

So now we patiently wait for them to do their own testing on the High Range Model (HI702)!

I did have a chance to test copper power, in DT water tonight.

A little less consistent. But that could just because I used my wife's measuring cups from the kitchen to take the water from the tank. Quickly while she wasnt paying attention to me. Shhhhhh...
(I never bring anything from my QT room in my unfinished portion of basement anywhere near my DT, which is where my measuring bucket I preformed original tests with is)

Target 2.50
Result 2.42
