Apogee is the top recommended brand and has been for years. But expensive
14 and 15 is a newer “non name brand” which has been compared to the apogees. The user telegraham is a lighting specialist here. He’s compared that newer par meter and found there’s two versions. One version is found to give the same readings as the more expensive apogees. The other version has a different sensor, and telegraham has found the readings are accurate to apogee after you apply a multiplier
If the new meter reads 100 par
You multiply by 1.17 to get the reading an apogee would give, ie the standard of the community
