They are suggestions for par meters

Apogee is the top recommended brand and has been for years. But expensive

14 and 15 is a newer “non name brand” which has been compared to the apogees. The user telegraham is a lighting specialist here. He’s compared that newer par meter and found there’s two versions. One version is found to give the same readings as the more expensive apogees. The other version has a different sensor, and telegraham has found the readings are accurate to apogee after you apply a multiplier

If the new meter reads 100 par
You multiply by 1.17 to get the reading an apogee would give, ie the standard of the community

On the Amazon linked newer brand par meter, you look at the sensor lens to determine if you need to multiply or not

This works very well. Depending on the sensor you receive, it may require a multiplier to align with Apogee 500-series sensors. If you buy it, DM me a pic and I’ll share if a multiplier is required.
I got this one from Amazon can’t beat it for the price and it’s pretty much spot on my buddy brought over his $500 one he got from BRS and it was pretty spot on for most of the tests we did, only a +1 or -1 on only a few of the reedings we took
