Hey everyone!

Tank: This is my 20 Gallon Concept Abyss Peninsula from Innovative Marine. I got this tank last year at Reef-A-Palooza from SCMAS but haven't had the time to build a stand for it up until a month ago. The quarantine finally gave me time away from school to build a stand for it and get it set up.
Stand: I did my best to base the design of the stand off the Red Sea Reefer stands. First I modeled the stand in SketchUp and after I cut everything up to the right dimensions and sanded, got to painting the stand a light gray and protected it using Polycrylic. Finally, I attached everything together using pocket hole screws. The doors themselves are attached using european soft close style hinges with pull handles on them. The inside bottom of the stand can be removed in case water ever spills and I need to clean up. The whole thing is leveled using 8 leveling feet.
Equipment: I have the stock Innovative Marine pump, but it's so noisy that I'm going to switch it out with a Sicce Syncra Silent pump soon. The light i have on it right now is the Eshopps Refugium light, which is only on there just so I can look at it. I will be getting a Kessil A360we that I purchased from a fellow reefer on here. On the back, I have a Finnex HOB refugium with some chaeto in there. An ADJ PC-100a to ply all my equipment into and be able to easily turn off individually if i need to.
Livestock: Currently there's only one silver sailfin molly in there and she loves hiding.
Filtration: Have the stock filter sock, but planning on getting the Custom Caddy for it. Have the Brightwell Aquatics xport-bio cubes, some MarinePure gems, and ClearFx carbon in the middle chamber.

About: 16 year old reefer in SoCal. Been reefing since 12. Let me know if I should start a YouTube channel and be the next @coralfish12g

Some updates.
I changed the lighting on the Finnex fuge from the 4w light that came with it, to a 14w led grow light from Amazon. I’ve also built the drawers for the stand but was too lazy to paint them since no one is going to see them anyways.

What kind of heater are you using?
Originally had a 100w NeoTherm in the tank, but it stopped working last week after 4 years. I was going to get another one but couldn’t find one fast enough, and ended up settling for one of the 100w Aqueon Pro heater that does just fine as of now.

No Skimmer!?

Also in SoCal
This is the third reef tank I’ve set up with no skimmer and it does just fine. I just make sure to clean the mechanical filtration every couple days to prevent any food from decaying too much and the chaeto keeps my nitrates and phosphates pretty low

Im also 16 in LA, which area are you in?
Also do you have a mesh top?
If you know where Hamilton High School is, I’m just a few blocks away. I don’t have a mesh top as of now, but I’m planning on getting one from BRS. I just keep some eggcrate on top right now.
