There's no actual file attached
It's there, it just has a thin black outline so I don't waste your printer ink. I guess I could give it a white background instead of transparent. Try this one instead.

Here's my first version out of some scrap black. Matte black isn't terrible, but I think fluorescent orange is a better choice. I cut some little support pieces to try and prevent the eventual bending, but I don't know how much good they are going to do.

Great job! Do you have a hanging pendant over the tank? Obviously doesn't look like you have anything physically mounted to the tank.

Looking forward to see what you do for the main tank!

My AI Sol is hanging above, but I built a cabinet/shelf wall unit in my office and the light is just hanging from the bottom of the cabinets above. Alas, the acrylic started to bow within a few hours. I ended up printing a support with my 3D printer and glueing it to the acrylic. We'll see if that helps.

keep us posted! Did you cut 1/8" acrylic or 1/4".

Honestly not sure if you'd need to go up to 1/2" acrylic to keep it from bending. Or see what those big lid makers are using...as it might be a different type of material. The last lid I had on my BioCube made by OctoAquatics never warped at all.

I used 1/8". I have some 1/2" and I think that stuff weighs more than I do.

I think bumping down the intensity has helped the zoa's. They already seem to be a bit fluffier ttoday as I'm in the office, and they've had a few days of less than 90% intensity. I've had a leptastrea in the tank for about 2 months now, and the top portion of that had bleeched out too. It looks like the darker color is starting to come back to that too.

In a mixed reef...more light isn't ALWAYS better!

Did my weekly water change today, cleaned out my RFG with a brush, adjusted the angle to keep things new and interesting for the corals (I adjust the direction of the nozzle every week by a small amount), and now it's back to normal.

Reef roids and amino's tomorrow, and then it's auto pilot for the rest of the week.

As always, thanks for looking!

So here are some pictures of coral growth over the past year.

ORDER 1: The ones that have "WHITE" LED lights, are my original haul (April 19 - 6.5 months of growth).
ORDER2: Second comparisons that are blue-blue (August 16 - 2.5 months of growth).
ORDER 3: Lastly Battlecoral SPS (September 19 - 1.5 months of growth)

I'm really happy with how everything is going. I'll separate pictures by Order 1, 2 or 3.

ENJOY!

ORDER: 1 - This one is really starting to take off now!

Looks like some great growth in a short amount of time. Keep it up.

can’t remember if you took a par reading? That might be helpful to know for some of your sps to color up.

Thanks! Never took par readings on the tank, so no clue what it's reading, but everything is happy, and SPS colors are looking good for me (doesn't always translate the best in my pictures as I don't have any filters for my camera).

My pink stylo at the rear of the tank is HOT PINK, all the others have colored up nicely, including the Fox Flame...has that nice red base with the yellow tips!

Well done! Nice growth you’ve gotten started and I’ll always feel like it’s a bit more challenging to get corals growing in a nano versus a larger system! Keep up the good work!

Always appreciate your comments Rev! Oddly enough, I find that out of all the tanks I've had in the past, this one is the easiest so far (knock on wood). I can't wait to see what the tank looks like at 1 year old!

Some great growth on your coral!
Thank you!

Sorry for the HYPER saturated picture, but I took this under blues tonight. It kind of works though, b/c it looks like the parts of the coral that got bleached by the Radion at 90% intensity, is slowly starting to recover its body in flesh! I think within the next month it will be back to full coverage!

All the while, the polps still extend and feed, but the bright white skeleton was really getting annoying!

Bubble algae is also really taking over. I'm thinking of getting 2 little emerald crabs to throw in here to take care of things!

Other than that, continuing to go really well!

Did my weekly 1 gallon water change today. I added a piece of loc-line back onto my RFG so I could adjust the coverage the tank gets just a little bit more (left to right). As I've mentioned, everytime I do a water change a readjust the direction of the RFG nozzle just a bit to keep things "randomized", but definitely plan on getting the dual nozzle kit in the new year to really hit the front and back of the tank at the same time.

My war favia is continuing to color up again on the "bleeched" area that was on the top of the coral, and everything else is good and happy.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

A little short of Reef Roids feeding time! Kinda cool watching the snails move around, and the feeding response on the favias. One of these days I'll try to get a direct head on video of the tank over an extended amount of time.
