Hi, I hope you are having an amazing day! I've had this type of clownfish for the past 5 months and he's been all alone. Currently looking to give him a buddy Clownfish and was curious if it's best to get the same type or could I get a naked clownfish or the common normal orange Nemo. Wanting to keep things peaceful. I bought a Black Widow Anemone, and he has yet to host with it, im hoping the other Nemo will guide him into loving it. Appreciate all of your help!

If its big its mature and prob female. You want a small one of the same type. It should turn male. 2 females will fight.
You can read about sexing clowns . Lot of info on the web and here.

Echoing others. A small ocellaris is what you want. Smaller the better. Ime it's easier to pair the ones with the same color pattern so another black ocellaris, but a naked ocellaris would probably work. I have a standard and a black together as a pair in my 120, but they were harder to pair than the 2 standard orange ocellaris I had before

And by "harder to pair" I mean the larger standard ocellaris nearly killed the black ocellaris several times and chased it into the overflow probably a half dozen times. They're fully paired now though with no aggression.
