My ocellaris clown fish pair started moving sand from last 2 days . Is this a sign of spawning? Or any other reason behind it ?
They host an ultra green BTA and they started moving sand in front of it but this morning the GBTA moved behind and they started to clean more area .
N: there is also a green carpet anemone which is hosted by an anemone crab .
Please help me out .

They lay on hard clean surfaces, and they will encourage a nem to settle in a good spot for everyone. Let them figure it out and they will let you know when they are happy with the situation.

Mine always dig a hole in the sand. I don't know if its a spawning thing since they've done it since they were juveniles. The hole is their home.

You don't have much sand so it looks like "cleaning", but I think they are trying to dig, it seems to be a clownfish thing.
