I had a 55 gallon tank with the Ocellaris Pair in it and i eventually upgraded my tank into a 210 gallon tank and later on bought a pair of Maroon clownfish along with their own anemone. The 2 pairs were decently far away from each other in their anemones and the Maroons have started to host both of the anemones at the same time leaving the Ocellaris pair to stay off to the side or in the rocks if they ever go into it. They also seem to have zero interest in the new anemone in the tank since they got chased away the first time. They seem to stay close to the anemone they got pushed out of and the Maroon clownfish seem to chase them away but at weird times they will be at the same anemone when the light it off. Would it be best to get rid of the Ocellaris pair or could I could try and push the Maroons back to their anemone to keep them settled in that area.
I thought of buying the smaller clownfish a new anemone that is somewhat small and would mainly be on the glass in the back for them but I feel the Maroons would eventually get to it and do the same or "love" the anemone to death.
