the tank is about 8-9 months old and no i took the anemone right out of the container i was drip acclimating it in. let me know if you can’t see the videoCould you get better pics and a video of the fish? It’s hard to make out in that picture.
How old is the tank?
Did any contaminants get in when the anemone was added?
like some seachem prime?Dump some detox in
YUPlike some seachem prime?
just added some so fingers crossed!
temp is 80, ammonia is about .15, ph is 8.15 and salinity is 1.028 which ik is a little high. and no recent changes other than the nemVid won’t load on my end - YouTube links generally work better.
What are the current water parameters and what test kits are you using?
Are there any other fish? No recent changes other than the nem?
Idk if it’s just me but does the clownfish look like it is struggling to swim.temp is 80, ammonia is about .15, ph is 8.15 and salinity is 1.028 which ik is a little high. and no recent changes other than the nem

Your fish might be pregnant.
he always swims like thatIdk if it’s just me but does the clownfish look like it is struggling to swim.
This is not pregnant behavior or appearance - the fish is visibly thin and a clown ready to lay would end closely guarding a nest.Your fish might be pregnant.
Sure enough he perked right up and is normal now!need to add more for ammonia. and do a water change. should perk up. double or triple dose.
I use all salifert and hanna tests, everything else seemed fine but he's back to normal now since adding some prime. This is not pregnant behavior or appearance - the fish is visibly thin and a clown ready to lay would end closely guarding a nest.
What test kits are being used? If api, a misread on ammonia is highly possible (it reads free and toxic, often inaccurately) as it tends to run high. A water change would be better than dumping too much prime in.
Is the other clown acting off at all? How about the new nem? I would expect a water issue to affect everything to some degree.
Keep an eye on it - elevated ammonia means that the cycle is not complete, so you need to be careful not to let it rise again.I use all salifert and hanna tests, everything else seemed fine but he's back to normal now since adding some prime.
