Give it a try! The biggest thing I've learned is importance of keeping water parameters stable, I'm pretty sure most of my mortalities came from after performing water changes too hastily. This is really cool. I have enjoyed this journey. I wouldn't mind trying myself one day
Thanks! It's been alot of fun to watch them grow. Now what to do with 30 clownfish...
Thanks! I'll keep you in mind once they get a little bigger/ can handle shipping.I would of loved to help you out with that by buying two.... but I live across the country from you. Haha, good luck. I love following this thread.
Nice!!!!
following.Day 6- I performed a 50% water change today and am raising the rearing tank waterline to 8 gallons (with fresh sea water @ 1.025 sg).
3 more mortalities, still feeding rotifers and offering TDO A.
I've spotted 3-4 fry showing signs of beginning the metamorphosis stage (arching their body and turning their tail momentarily).
I've added a small piece of live rock from the main tank with a few Xenia to add a sense of security and place to host the fish as well.
Thanks! It's awesome to see their patterns starting to show, definitely the father's snowflake genetics coming through on some. They look great!! I love the patterns.
