I added an ocellaris clown to my tank today & have noticed that his face/mouth hos gotten pale in the last few hours and he keeps rubbing it in the sand bed.
Is this normal behavior?

He still swims around every few minutes, but he's consistently.moving his mouth & I've never seen one get pale like this. It has me worried.

Params are all spot on.

Poor fish looks bad to me. Breathing really fast and struggling to maintain position.

My thoughts too. I acclimated him properly & all the params, including pH, calcium & everything are spot on. Temp is at 76° & salinity is at 1.024.
It's the mouth movement & the paleness that has me worried most.

How is your clown today ?
Was just jumping on to update.
He looks MUCH better today (video isnt the greatest). Back to full color, and no more gasping. I read some more about it after my post last night & left the blue light on, adjusted my power head & added an air stone to turn the surface a bit more & it seems to have done the trick!
Hes active, trying to lay in the anemone, eating and just generally acting Clowny lol
