So I picked up two clownfishs yesterday evening, they was totally fine at the place I bought them from.
Was an hour drive back home and started the acclimation process I realised that one of the fishes was going pale and darting around the bucket while the other was near enough dead still.

After 40mins I started getting abit worried so I stuck them in my tank.
They seemed to of been sticking to one part of the rock, the little one which was turning pale and darting around seems to have calmed down and is swimming around not too far away form the bigger one which just dosent want to move anywhere.

This morning I found the big one right at the top of the tank by the overflow section not moving. But then randomly will move up and down. While the other swims around not too far but always near that area.

I know clowns are strange and this behaviour might be common. I'm new and just panicking that somethings wrong.

My parameters are:
PH - 8.4
SALINITY - 1.025
AMMONIA - 0
NITRITE - 0
NITRATE - 20 (I will be doing a water change when I get home in a few hours to bring this down)

I thought theres too much flow in the water so I've only got one Wavemaker going and also the return section might be two strong for the fish?

I've attached a few videos from yesterday evening and this morning.

Any advise would be grateful, thank you in adavcne

Don't see the video. Happen to have any pics? Anything visible on them like spots or dust or other symptoms like breathing fast and heavy?
Sorry I did try to attach a few videos but they won't upload for some reason. Trying again here...

Yes acclimated them over 40mins, as soon as I put them in the bucket to do so their behaviour changed straight away. Temp and oxygen are good as well.
Slight nitrate levels which ima change out again this evening.

How did you acclimate them? Your Nitrate is at a level fine for fish, but lowering it could be good. Your PH is pretty high though, what salt and tests are you using? and are you using RODI water?, and what is your salinity?

So I done the drip method, floated the bag in the tank for 15mins and then 40 mins with the drip acclimation process.

So I use real reef crystals for salt, I've got both api and redsea test kits.
So the breeder kept his fishes at 1.017/19 my tank is 1.025 and I use one of those electric Hanna tester for my salinity test.
Also yes I use a rodi unit for my water. I've tried to follow everything step by step so that's why I'm really confused on where I've gone wrong

Nothing visible on the fishes itself, I had a feeling the bigger one might of been breathing heavy but couldn't really properly as she kept hiding away last night.

I'ma try attach another video on this message. It keeps uploading and gets done but won't appear on messages.

If they're captive bred from a reputable breeder then I'd guess a touch of shock and stress from the transfer and salinity acclimation and hopefully they will bounce back on their own. Any change today?

So I've come home today to see they are both together, swimming around one area of back of the tank, much more active and I fed them some frozen mysis which they both ate.
They seem to stay on the same spot at the back of the tank near the overflow.

Great! Sounds like they will be fine and they will eventually move around the tank more as they get more comfortable.

That is a pretty big difference in salinity. I would suggest in the future to give fish from that LFS a longer acclimation if at all possible. I know you were worried so what you did made sense.

Yes it surely is. Apparently breeding and keeping them at low salinity keeps parasites and them getting sick ‍♂️. Thank you for the help
