Hello,

I recently brought clove polyp frag.
Far last 1 week the polyps are closed. They were all open at LFS but are closed since in my tank.
Salinity 1.026
Temp 26°C
dKh 9-10
Nitrate nitrite negligible
Calcium and magnesium dosed
Kalkwasser dosing

Please let me know if the frag can be saved or not.

Can you turn off the blues and take a pic in white light? Almost looks like algae growing on the frag in that pic, but it might just be blurry.

What is the nitrate and phosphate level? How old is your tank? D you have other corals, how are they doing? What is the calcium and magnesium levels? why are you dosing?

I had issues with my fireworks flove polyps until I moved them to an area of the tank with better water flow. Give that a spin, it may work for you as well! :upside-down-face:

Try bumping up your nitrates a bit. IME, softies like zoas and cloves prefer some elevated nutrients. For me I keep them in the range of 15-20ppm(nitrate).

Your params look ok to me. Perhaps there's something in the water that's irritating them? I mean if even your GSP are closed, I bet something's off. Those things are nukeproof! Lol!
