My Firework Clove Polyps Closed 2 days ago and I am not sure why.

All other corals in the tank look happy and healthy, leading me to believe it is a competition issue and not my parameters.

I had it for over a month and have been getting good growth out of it and multiple new heads sprouting up. Unfortunately the corals around it are growing well too and I am wondering if maybe the Kenya Tree or Duncan are brushing up against it and winning.

Can a Kenya Tree or Duncan hurt a Clove Polyp?

Pics attached, I'll try and get parameters later. That long white string is just snail eggs that the fish are picking at.

duncans are fair non-aggressive. Is that a hammer to the left? Hammers/euphilia do have long sweeper tentacles that can sting nearby neighbors.

is that a long sweeper tentacle? is it possible you might have some coral warfare going on? if it's possible, I'd check at night to see what the sweepers are doing...

are you suspecting anything for the possible issue?

My clove polyps have been turbo blasted with light and flow. They really hate being stung by my BTA on the edges though, so my guess would be they're getting hit with those sweepers. This guy closed up randomly for 2 months once. Clearly bounced back well. I wouldnt get worried for awhile. For reference the foxface is 4-5" long.

I've also found it really speeds up their growth if once the mouths are out you feed with a small micron frozen food like frozen cyclops pods, calanus, or baby brine shrimp. They have a very active feeding response

That is a Frogspawn. I was hoping it was far enough away and I have never seen it put out sweepers... But you might be right. They would have to be more than twice its size to reach the Cloves, but it's possible. Will have to do some night recon.
Is it being stung by whoever’s sweepers those are maybe?

If you read my entire post I already explained that is just a snail egg tendril. My fish plucked at it causing it to flop around. Cerith to be more specific.

You dose any food, product, supplement or anything that could have fenbendazole in it?
I feed both Reef Frenzy and Reef Roids pretty regularly (3-4 times a week) so diet is not the issue. Many of my coral actively feed, including the cloves until it just recently closed.

The closed cloves appear to be coated in a brown algae like layer. I would lightly attempt to clean it with a soft brush
