How does the lid work with a corner overflow on a deep blue 80 pro rimless? Im ready to buy one.

The DB tanks have a recessed overflow box that sits at least 1/4" below top glass edge. Therefore, in almost all cases here we go OVER the overflow. Note that all lids are custom built to order so if you would like YOUR lid to go AROUND the overflow instead you can specify this at the time of order.

Hi , we have lids for this size tank and everything in between and bigger. There are a number of pictures people have posted within this thread that may give you what you are looking for.

How the overflow area is handled will vary based on the tank's construction. If the overflows sit at least a 1/4" below the top edge of the glass then we have the option of going OVER or AROUND them. Some have them covered in solid material for noise attenuation as well.

We strongly recommend at least one feed door (multiples can be ordered after initial checkout) for a lid this size. The lid will only weight around 10lbs likely, but longer/larger lids are naturally a bit more clumsy to remove on a regular basis. The feed doors are 3x5 in size so do provide a nice space for spot feeding and minor maintenance in the tank without lid removal. More doors, more convenience ;)

Let us know if you have any other questions.

please reply to my message, thank you

Thanks for being a repeat customer aaron. You were also among the very first adopters of our ClearView Lids for another tank of yours.

We are however just a smidge ;) slammed in comparison to back then, so you gotta give us more than a couple hours to reply to PM's before pinging the main thread for response please. Also, all information/changes/sketches related to your new order should be sent in reply to your Order Confirmation Email. This helps us greatly in keeping the administrative side of this whole process as efficient and organized as possible.

We look forward to making your second ClearView Lid! Thanks.

Yea was wondering same as my locline comes out above the water line a couple inches before the overflow . I know you guys can work around it but I feel like that would look weird. I would need it to be totally closed too because of wrasses

Are powercords considered cutouts? Looking to get one for a reefer 170. Any costs to that? Thank you.

They are cutouts, they are included in the base price (full customization).
Thanks!

Finally bit the bullet and placed my order. Assuming a higher than normal order amount given the sale, are you still expecting a 6 week lead time? Cannot wait to have a proper cover on my Deep Blue rimless.
