Just got mine today, seeing the foot print on the front of the packing scared me silly. Awesome workmanship and just in time, this is one marvelous idea. I'll share some pics

ROFL, no need to worry about footprints from careless delivery guys. The lids are made out of Lexan, not acrylic. SUPER strong. How strong? Strong enough to be repeatedly smacked against the wall, stomped on, driven over, and even SHOT WITH A .38 Revolver. Yep, we have hit this material with all of those things , including .22 and .38 ammunition without breaking. The packaging is there moreso to protect the lid from scratches than anything else. The delivery guy could bend that box over from corner to corner and not damage the lid itself ;).

Floyd, if possible, we'd love to see a few extra pics showing off the corners where your armored seam cutouts went as well. =).

Also for those that don't know, this ClearView Lid was for a Reef Savvy tank at a 72x32 footprint. The only pic there that shows the scale of this lid is the one with the box leaning up against the door. It's massive. And it's gorgeous =).

Thanks for the extra pics Black Pearl! It does look absolutely fabulous! Was the first lid configured for Reef Savvy's Armored Seams so was certainly curious to see it in action =). Same time as yours we also did a lid for another Reef Savvy tank in TX. Same 72x32 footprint as yours, but this one didn't have armored seams and was a frag tank.

Our order was placed on 5/3 so mine is taking longer than a month to fabricate and ship. Communication has been at a very minimum with us having to email and inquire about our order and was told it would arrive last week some time. It would be nice to get notified the new ETA but that's not happened so we'll need to inquire again about it. Unfortunately, in my case, the process has been less rosy...

What tank do you have? I know customs or ones they don't have already done on their site takes at least 5 weeks.

Hi, you are correct that we stated it would ship by the end of the week last week. Apologies that it didn't go out Friday =(. You will however receive a shipping notice with tracking today because IT IS going out with todays shipments. Apologies again for the small delay and Happy Bday to you!
