Any update on your Edge 57? Wanting to see it before ordering.

This lid will be cut and made beautiful in the next few days.

Deep Blue tanks have a few ways to be setup as their overflow sits 1/4" below glass edge without lid. They can be configured to go around the overflow (allowing use of the black lid Deep Blue provides) or to go over the overflow allowing a larger meshed surface.

The Edge 57 lid you are asking about is being configured to go over the overflow box for cleaner frame lines.

Below, are two cad graphics for the DB Edge 75. One shows with overflow wrap around and offset feed door (in addition to Kessil gooseneck mount cutouts) where other shows with no overflow wrap around or other cutouts (hung lights and ecotech pumps).

Cool. What i wanted to see if it can be made to go over the overflow so i dont need to use the overflow cover, but I also use the Ecotech Radion mounting arm in the middle of the overflow. Do you have a design for that?

I saw the tank they did for R2R for the raffle at RAP Orlando and they did a custom overflow top for that tank. I asked them if they would do one for me with the cut out for the RMS Arm mounts and they said they could do that.

Having mine made to go over the overflow. No cut outs for light mounts though as I mounted my goose necks to the wall. Much cleaner look I think. I'm sure what u want can be done. I however have a return pipe comming over the rim into the overflow that a cut out is being done as I used the two holes for a Herbie setup.

Got you DVaDer77!! PM answered. Just in time to add a feed door to your order ;).

No problem here Aceone. These customizations are all included in the pricing so no added charges. Just provide the dimensional location info for your radion mount when you submit your order and we will get you squared away =).

Looks to me like it already extends to the edge of the glass.

Hmm, I don't see the quoted comment from revhtree so he may have deleted it ;). To answer though, the tabs extend 3/8" beyond the main frame of the lid. This is perfect for all the tanks we have done thus far. However, the beauty of customized ClearView Aquarium Lids...if you REALLY want them bigger we can do that too. Does your tank have an extreme bow to it? We've dealt with that too and added cross bracing to a lid to purposely push it 'proud' in the middle to meet these types of extreme conditions when necessary. The more details you communicate along with your order the more we can help engineer the perfect lid for you =).

Is your tank the Reefer series?

This member's lid is for a Deep Blue Edge 57.

I love the way these look! But how heavy are they? Is it difficult/cumbersome to remove them? I feel like I'm always tilting up or removing my current aluminum screen for something, but it's so light and easy to move/remove.

Dear manufacturer, there have been so many posts on this topic that my question has probably been overlooked.
I am wondering whether you either have a distributor in the UK or of you are able to send to the UK..
I have an Evolution Aqua 900 Reef with 2 Kessil Goosenecks and have been unable to find a suitable
tank cover in the UK.
Many thanks. Glenda

Nope, not heavy at all. Most weight only 2-4 lbs and very easy to remove and drop down in place. Very similar in weight compared to an aluminum frame.

Sorry we overlooked your question. No distributors right now across the pond but we can ship directly to you. We ship our tanks all over the world so Internation freight is not foreign to us. We can get you a quote but it's usually the same as the cost of the lid itself or sometimes more. $200-$300 to ship just one lid.

The best thing to do is get a group buy with a local club or other reefers in your area. The more we ship together the lower the cost per unit. Shipping 5 lids isn't much more expensive than just one.

Hope this helps!

These look great. I'll have to remember this for when I get my tank(s) started.

Cheers,

I see your listings for CAD tanks, mine is an Artisan 50 Long, which is not listed. Do you/can you make me a lid?
Thanks

I'm ready to order a lid. It's going to be a custom order 24X48 with a few cutouts. Do I go ahead and place the order and then give the dimensions and placement of the cutouts later?

We sure can. Just select the appropriately sized Custom lid category and include details in your order comments with full internal dimensions.

Good to go mwilk. Dimensions via text description go in order comments at checkout. Sketches or pics should be sent in reply to your order confirmation email following order submission.

Many thanks for your response. I'll have to think about that! Not sure my pension will stretch that far. May have to visit the US and take one back with me. Where are you based?
