For those who got their lids already. After your final decision on dimensions of your lid, how long until you actually received it? I spoke with Adam 2 weeks ago and decided on my final dimensions but i havent received an email that it shipped yet.

I have a rimmed tank and an Apex autofeeder. Would you make a small notch just big enough for the bracket, and assume the food would fall through the mesh? Or would the notch have to be big enough to open up the whole area where food gets dumped too? I'd be worried about leaving too much open space where a fish might jump out.

Thanks!
Larry

Hey dewboy, happy to help. Just above your post is the first bow front lid we did for a jbj28 bio cube. That tank required a cardboard template to get it right. Some bow fronts can be done without this if the top opening can be measured in such a way to determine square area vs bowed area if that makes sense. You can email us a pic and some basic dimensions to [email protected] and we can assist you further with this.

Hey camer25. Your lid is on cutlist today. It will go out this week.

Hi Larry there are a few factors that play into the answer on this. In short, your tank would only require a small cutout for the feeder to allow food to fall into the tank. Rimless tanks may or may not need larger cutouts due to how far the feeder extends into the tank beyond glass edge. The tank size affects the width of the lids frame. This affects how we configure the lid for the feeder.

The easiest thing to do here is to shoot us a few pictures showing feeder clearance/orientation and the dimensions of your tank so we can answer accordingly on how it can be integrated in your particular case. [email protected] would be the email you need to send those too.

My tank NEEEEEEEDS a lid! Reefer 350.

Let us know if you need any help placing your order. RSR lids are well confirmed at this point and only measurements we need for them are for your mods for lights/cords.

Adam,
Looks like Artfully Acrylic has a hit on it hands....well done.

Thank you =). Who knew?! I knew the lids were hot when we designed them...but 14000+ views on this thread alone?! Very nice. We are very excited for this product and can't wait to catch up on orders so we can work on and release some of the other awesome innovative products we have in the works ;).

I have a 5 gallon that needs one it's 18 by 7.5 inches how much would it cost

The <2sf Custom Lid is the one you would need. It's the smallest category we offer. Pricing starts at $119.99 and is fully inclusive of all mods/cutouts needed in your lid!

I got my lid a few weeks ago for my IM NUVO and I couldn't be happier. Great worksmanship and the details were right on with what I requested.
A+ would definitely recommend

Any more pictures of this lid on the tank?

Not yet, but we got one shipping this week so hopefully soon =)

@ArtFully Acrylic What is the wait time for Reefer lids now? Thanks!

Lead times are still quoted at 4 weeks. Some will be a bit faster, but we are taking in new lid orders almost as quickly as we get them out the door so the 'queue' hasn't really "shrunk" at all lol. This is also on top of our ongoing tank builds for our Reef Crest, Signature Series tanks, and custom builds.

Aaron! I didn't know your lid was for a Nuvo. Which one? So we can update our library. And why not post up some pics?! Your lid had a nice custom setup so I'm sure we'd all like to see it!!

I received my lids for the 300DD fit and cable notches are perfect. I like not having the aluminum frames I never liked the idea of a corroding piece of aluminum by the tank these frames have been a great solution.
