This post needs more pictures =). Here's a few from lids cut this week. We have a variety of custom lids here from real small to pretty darn big. We also have a 3 lid set for the Marineland 300DD. Most lids have cord or light cutouts. Ghost Overflow? No problem. Apex Auto Feeder? No problem. What else you guys got to throw at us?! =).

We would love to add the Elos tanks and have no issue doing that soon. However, if you are in the first few submissions for a particular model we will still ask you for detailed dimensions so we can assure we make quality well fitting lids. PM me with your masic dimensions and model info and I can assist you in this if you would like to be the first for Elos!

Awesome! We can't wait either! We look forward to your first lid being ready....then #2 & #3 =)

We have plenty of data on the Red Sea Reefer line in general so no need for main measurements. We would only need dimensional info for any slots you need cut for lights/equipment/cords. Watch the Sizzler Reel below for a feed door demo. Feed doors are 3x5 in size.

Thanks a ton. Will order on Monday!

I have an IM lagoon 25. Does the top cover just the display area or does it cover the aio section too?

As the false wall comes to the top edge of the glass the lid terminates at that spot. The rear chamber is not covered. We can quote a separate cover for the rear chamber but note the IM media trays would not be useable in that configuration as they come above glass edge.

How do the Red Sea Reefer kids stay in place?

Harold, please see the sizzler reel above for nice close ups of the tabs. The tabs are what sit on the glass edge. The remaining thickness of the lid recesses inside your tank. These small tabs allow the remainder of your rimless edge to go unobstructed :).

Awesome. Custom color acrylic?

Is the feeding door on a hinge?

Is the mesh replaceable if it rips?

Is there a guarantee on no warping?

I actually have a lot of equipment coming out the back so that was my concern. I will place an order as soon as I can.

Harold, the lids are made out of Lexan (polycarbonate) not acrylic. Therefore, the colors that would be available in acrylic aren't available in polycarbonate. We can add color to your lid @ addl cost using a vinyl wrap (same as we use on our Reef Crest and Signature Series tanks) in Black, White, Blue or Red.

The feeding door is not on a hinge. It has two supporting tabs which are designed to conveniently pivot when you push on the back side of the door allowing you to remove the door for feeding. This is a more durable approach than using an acrylic hinge which is prone to break easily.

The meshin is replaceable in the same manner it would be on an aluminum frame. The mesh is splined into the channel.

Acrylic would be prone to warp in very short order when used in this application. This is part of why we chose Lexan. It is substantially more impact resistant and it has a higher moisture content than acrylic which allows it to stay far more stable. We don't expect any warping issues whatsoever with this material and will guarantee your lid against it for 3 years.

I actually have a lot of equipment coming out the back so that was my concern. I will place an order as soon as I can.

Great! We look forward to it.

I was really impressed this past weekend when I received a call from artfully acrylic to go over the build of my lid. They wanted to verify any cord cut outs feeding doors or extra cut outs that I may have forgotten to place with my order. Of course I hadn't fully thought it through and they were able to modify my order over the phone. Thanks for the great customer service!

Our pleasure Griff! We want to make sure your excitement level and sense of a great decision to be through the roof every time you look at your lid ;)

MY LID IS INSTALLED!!couldnt be happier, below are pics,my old screen DIY was already coming apart within a year of building, and in comparison was a flimsy piece of my tank(60 inches long makes it somewhat unstable)the new lid even at 60"is a sturdy piece of work and the cutouts came out perfect.only one note of advice for people placing future orders, plan a notch for any wires that run over the rim(i have WAV powerheads)
Thanks guys!!

Does the lid cover well enough to keep fish in ok. My female flame took a mesh bath, didn't find her until today:( I only had a small hole for feeding, etc and she found it. Probably from running away from my !#$% Mystery Wrasse. Thx
