Tristanfish could you please post some pictures without the lights on so we can see the lid under normal lighting instead of blues? Also is the screen pulled tight? Your first picture it looks like the screen has some waves in it (loose) but it could just be the lights.
Thanks..

Will do. But here's what I think.

1) great product, built extremely well and well thought out
2) great service. These gentlemens are working pretty hard to get their customer base the best product out there.

Thanks adam for everything

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW...that's all I have to say! I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

It's love at first site! :D

This thing fits like it was made for the tank. Netting is nice and tight. I don't notice any shadowing at all. See all pics in my build thread.

WooHoo!! Over 10,000 views and counting =).

I hope all my measurements are spot on so mine fits like a glove as well. Measured like 5 times to be sure.

I think your measurements and sketch came out great!

Thanks for including that Jimbo! Nice to see all the other pics too!

Any updates on what will be at Reef-A-Palooza Orlando since it's only a couple of days away?

We will have one of our Reef Crest 9 Gallon models there. It will be fully equipped so will include a ClearView Lid (albeit a small one, all the principles are there...) and ATO Drawer!!

It is decked out in some custom graphics and WILL be going home with a lucky winner there at the show!! Where can you see it and enter to win it?! In the Reef2Reef booth!!

Awesome! Cannot wait to see it in person?

Will you have to be there in person to claim the raffle prize? I found out my fiancee's family is in town this weekend and we have a dinner reservation Sunday night. I was planning on coming on Sunday but we may have to come Sunday.

I have a request, can you guys add Elos tank sizes to your sub categories for the ease of ordering for us Elos owners? So that all I have to do is tell you which model I have and rather the overflow box cut out is on the right or left. Thank you very much!

Thanks for the compliment.

Note, if you are just getting into CNC machines and working with plastic I would recommend starting with a friendlier material than polycarbonate. It is not a very friendly material to machine and takes knowing your machine and the material pretty well to turn good results. Cell cast acrylic will be much friendlier on your CNC to start. But then, soft woods will be leaps easier than acrylic too....and generally much cheaper ;)

Do I still need to measure if it is for the red sea reefer 450? I am assuming its standard but wanna double check before ordering. Also what is the optional feeder door exactly?

We would love to add the Elos tanks and have no issue doing that soon. However, if you are in the first few submissions for a particular model we will still ask you for detailed dimensions so we can assure we make quality well fitting lids. PM me with your masic dimensions and model info and I can assist you in this if you would like to be the first for Elos!

Awesome! We can't wait either! We look forward to your first lid being ready....then #2 & #3 =)

We have plenty of data on the Red Sea Reefer line in general so no need for main measurements. We would only need dimensional info for any slots you need cut for lights/equipment/cords. Watch the Sizzler Reel below for a feed door demo. Feed doors are 3x5 in size.
