Alright folks, heres an idea that was sparked from countless hours on a photo forum.

Every week or two, im going to post a new photography assignment.

What does that mean? Im going to set stipulations on what area of photography, and a subject to focus on.

I sure hope you all have fun with this, and dont hesitate to post your results.

I will also participate each week myself, and see what we all come up with.

Lesson 1: I've Got My Eye On You!

The idea of this lesson is to get "tack" sharp focus on the eye(s) of your subject.

The subject - Your favorite fish, crab or shrimp.

Do your best, and keep at it.

POST THOSE PICS!

pics

dang boys...those pics are sick! Using those on a rotating basis as my new backgrounds...especially junior's WOW!

With that said help me out...I have a Kodak Z740 5.0 megapixel with a 10X zoom lens and I can't get much to be in focus and nothing like those pics. Any ideas on maybe new lense or settings, etc...

From what little i know of the camera, set the iso high as you can before it gets too noisy, set the back dial the sports setting (should give you the needed shutter speed for fish), and start with a fish that does of lot of hanging around (goby). As far as post production, what program do you use? If you need help, feel free to PM me, and post the pic in the PM, and ill process is it for you best i can.
