Update:

Completed first water change, 15%. lights on 8 hours at 50%, skimmer up and running, pH 7.8, nitrates 5, salinity 1.024, still small bioload. Two clowns, 3 firefish, 1 linear blenny. No dosing, feeding once a day. Missing anything? Add clean up crew now before algae etc start to grow? Add more bioload? I think still early for tangs?

Question did your tank come with a leveling mat?

I believe it was built into the bottom of the display tank..

Curious how your tang has been doing? I keep reading conflicting reports on certain tangs in a 80g tank. Would love to hear your thoughts. I definitely want a tang in my 110.4 but its just a matter of which one. Thanks in advance!

Yellow Tang is doing great - plenty of room for him and he is an active guy...

Yellow Tang is doing great - plenty of room for him and he is an active guy...

I have a yellow tang and kole tang in my 110.4 and they are both doing well. I added them toward the end. I recently added a flame angel and the Cole tang has been territorial with him.
