Hey guys I have a question, one of my lfs finally got a Xmas worm rock in, about 5” x 3” with 10+ worms on it, the porites also seems pretty healthy. Listed for 200$ do you guys think it’s a good price? I’ll get pictures next time I’m there.

edit: I’m in US so these are pretty hard to come by.

For America that sounds like a good price...here it wouldn't be close but considering what they go for over there you should go for it if you like them...here's a pic of the corals.com website...i wanted to compare prices here vs there out of curiosity

I've been asking my LFS if they've seen any every couple of months for almost 3 years. They come across one that'd need to be shipped now and then, but suggest I wait to find something local because apparently they don't ship well.

I'd buy that rock without thinking twice at this point.

I wish you the best of luck in finding one at a reasonable price...they're really cool! I actually got one last month and am about to get another for my other tank already!

Ok so I went back today and ended up picking it up. This thing is full of life!

the coral looks a little receded in some spots but I think it was from a very large vermetid snail at the base, was still getting good polyp extension at the store.

Sweet piece! It's really dark for a Porites usually they're light tan to light green in the wild from my experience...maybe it was at a lower depth? How big is it?? It looks sizeable! This is the piece I'm picking up either today or tomorrow...Screenshot_2022-12-26-19-06-45-747_jp.naver.line.android.jpg
